Kathryn Wiebe has ten years of diverse teaching experience in private, group, orchestral, and music theory lessons. She has certification through the Suzuki Association of Canada, as well as Mimi Zweig’s String Pedagogy training at Northwestern University. She has a studio of budding students on Violin and Piano at the Silver Bow Studio.
In terms of large ensembles, Kathryn is an instructor and conductor with Sooke Strings and Harmony Project Sooke. She has also performed and lead educational outreach concerts and workshops in schools in collaboration with various organizations, such as the Victoria Symphony and the BC Choral Federation BC Chorfest. She has also worked as an adjudicator for Campbell River’s Friends of Music “MusicFest“.
